The seventh stage of the Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) developed by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has been renewed by King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH).

Renewal of Stage 7 validation and attainment of this esteemed global certification for health informatics use was accomplished by KKESH, the first Middle Eastern hospital to attain HIMSS Stage 7.

With the requirements having grown even stricter since KKESH initially attained Stage 7 in 2016, this accreditation shows that the hospital is using cutting-edge clinical information technology and enhanced safety features to deliver first-rate patient care.
